Christophe became a professional dancer at the age of 17. he performed with the modern dance company "Ballet Theatre du Silence" amongst others but it was when he was given his first opportunity to choreograph a ballet that made him realise that he enjoyed making dance costumes and his creative talent lead him to start making dancewear for his wife. In 1990 Christophe created the brand name ‘Wear Moi’ and together with Elisabeth, who has herself performed with the Jeune Ballet de France, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and the English National Ballet in London, their innovative designs rapidly became respected worldwide within the dance industry.
