West End Live!

West End Live will be returning to Trafalgar Square on 22 and 23 June 2013 for a fabulous weekend of high-kicking talent in the heart of London and the UK performing arts industry. West End Live is a weekend of free and fabulous entertainment from top London shows from the West End, giving audiences the chance to grasp a glimpse of talent fresh off the stages of a number of theatre's across the capital. West End Live is now in its ninth year, and is organised by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre. As a huge free event, one of the largest of its type in the UK, it has many shows returning from previous years’ successes at the event, such as Billy Elliot The Musical, Horrible Histories, Jersey Boys, Disney’s The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Matilda The Musical, Les Misérables, Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Phantom of the Opera, Stomp, Thriller Live, Top Hat, War Horse, We Will Rock You and Wicked. New on the scene are shows including Burn The Floor, The Bodyguard, A Chorus Line, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage, The Golden Voice, High Society, Let It Be, Merrily We Roll Along, Once: A New Musical, Peter Pan: Never Ending Story, The Showstoppers and The Sound Of Music, suggesting that 2013 will be one of its best years yet! 2012 attracted over half a million people to the square for West End Live, all eager to grab a slice of the action and experience a number of theatrical displays and performances. West End Live is a fantastic way to engage with some of the most exciting shows of London’s Theatreland, and perhaps of the whole world.
