Our World Ballet Day Pledge to DanceAid

For every pair of ballet shoes you buy on World Ballet Day (1st Oct 2014) Dancewear Central will donate another pair to Charity! Dance Aid funds various projects to help AIDS Orphans in sub-Saharan Africa. They provide meals, counselling and job opportunities to help safeguard suffering young people and offer them a chance for a happier future. Sometimes though it is also great to do a little something extra, something that could really lift the spirits of these young people and let them have fun, free from the worry and stress of their daily lives. Dance can speak a universal language and the Dance Aid Charity run dance workshops in South Africa which can really help to lift the spirits of young people whose lives have been destroyed by the AIDS virus.That's why on Wednesday 1st October 2014 (which just so happens to be World Ballet Day), Dancewear Central have pledged that for every pair of ballet shoes we sell, we will donate a pair to Dance Aids mission work in South Africa. We hope every pair of ballet shoes donated will go someway towards those most in need being given an opportunity to explore the joys of dance. We want to help make them feel special and help create happy memories for them. So on 1st October you can help spread your passion for dance to those not as fortunate by purchasing any pair of ballet shoes from Dancewear Central - knowing that another pair will be going someway towards creating a happy experience for a young person somewhere else in the world!
