Since winning the BBC's inaugural dance talent show, The Greatest Dancer, back in February 2019, Ellie has been on quite a journey!
We caught up with Ellie on our photoshoot in London.
When did you start dancing?
I was 3 years old when I started asking to go dancing. I loved it straight away and I've been dancing ever since.
How often do you dance?
Every day! I go straight from school and dance until around 9.30pm most nights.
What's your favourite style of dance?
I love most styles but Contemporary is my favourite.
How did you find your time rehearsing for and competing on The Greatest Dancer?
Amazing! I travelled down to London about 9 or 10 times in the end. My amazing dance teacher from Edinburgh Dance Academy came with me and it was always quite a long journey as were travelling down from Scotland each time. But it was definitely worth it!
What was the best thing about competing in The Greatest Dancer?
Definitely meeting everyone and making so many new friends. It was a brand new experience and going through it with everyone was so much fun. They were all so lovely.
What do you plan to do when you leave school?
I'll hopefully get into a good dance college so I can continue learning and then go on to become a professional dancer
